Awesome Cookies for Half the Price

I just received the most wonderful package a gal could want. It was a box with two packages of a new product available at your local Kroger, called The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookie. It is exactly what it's name says it is. Truly awesome. The package are attractively designed. When you open them, the cookies are perfectly lined up and there are about 8 cookies in each package. They were definitely not stingy with their cookie size. They are perfect for an afternoon snack for the kids, after dinner dessert, or just for when you need your chocolate fix. There are plenty of chocolate chips in each cookie. Sure, you can pay more for the brand names, but Kroger's Truly Awesome Hometyle Chocolate Chip cookies deserve top billing right beside those brand names.

Pair this with a giant glass of ice cold milk and you have the perfect little getaway (at least for a minute or two).

I am a bzzagent and I received these cookies as a product tester.

Give them a try. You'll love them.

Protect Your Child from Unseen Dangers

I received a trial subscription of TrueCare through a program called BzzAgent. I found that TrueCare was simple to use and could be a benefit to parents concerned with their children's social networking. When you enroll you either set the program up using your children's Facebook, Twitter etc.. information or you send an email to your children and they activate the program. Once activated the program will send you email notifications when key phrases and words trigger the program.

You can also follow True Care on Facebook and Twitter. They post links to some really eye opening stories about cyber bullying and protecting your children. They also have a page where you can view the signs of these dangers. Here are the signs:

10 signs your child might be a victim of cyber abuse:
1. Your child becomes secretive about what they are doing online
2. Uses computers outside of home, such as at homes of friends, Internet
cafes, or libraries
3. Has a sudden decline in homework or grades
4. Doesn’t feel well, headaches, stomach aches, nervousness
5. Is restless, has difficulty sleeping
6. Shows changes in behavior or has mood swings
7. Becomes withdrawn or displays low self-esteem
8. Does not want to go to school or socialize
9. Avoids telling you who their online friends are
10. No longer wants to use the computer or cell phone

You can sign up for your free 60 day trial by visiting: http://www.truecare.com/bzzagent . After the 60 days, you will pay just $9.99 a month. Small price to pay for your children.

Bodum Pavina

Have you seen this awesome glassware? The Bodum Pavina thermal glasses are simply a different type of glass that is resistant to temperature swings and scratching. Because the particles are held together so tightly, borosilicate glass is dishwasher safe and will not become cloudy over time. This glass keeps your drinks cooler, longer.

I am dying to try it. Hoping to convince the higher ups that they need me on this mission.

I'm a bzzagent and a very happy bzzagent.

Have you heard???

Have you heard about the New Kindle 3? The Kindle 3 is ingeniously designed to be everything the iPad will never be: small, light and inexpensive… Now, the Kindle is almost ridiculously lightweight; at 8.5 ounces, it’s a third the weight of the iPad.

And with a wi-fi connection you’re just seconds away from close to a million books. It’s like having access to an entire library from the comforts of your couch. Via BzzAgent.

What's BzzAgent? The best WOM company you could imagine. I have been a Bzz Agent for over 8 years and have loved every minute of it. I have been able to sample, test, and review tons of products and spread the word to all of you.

I'm trying to convince my peeps over at BzzAgent that they really need me to review this product for them. What do you think? I will be the first to let you know the up and downs, the good and the bad of this product. So Bzz Agent Jono, look no more. I am your bzzgal.

True Care Internet Protection

This is a cool website I've been using. You enter your child's internet information (for example Facebook). You plug in some keys words that you'd like it to look out for....drugs, sex, alcohol, etc. True Care alerts you when those words are found on any kind of post, message, or status on your child's account. It is not invasive and my daughter does not feel I'm spying on her. I have a peace of mind knowing that she is not being bullied, stalked or doing anything inappropriate online. Her cyber footprint is protected.

Give is a try...TrueCare.com

I'm a bzzagent and was able to try this for review.

Great Freebies to be found

We SURVIVED!

We had our first major snow/ice storm here in West Lafayette and we survived. The girls got to have two full snow days, and two days with 2 hour delays. They have loved sleeping in. Have to admit, I loved it too. Drive way is shoveled and snow is piled high, but we have had a great time being together and being lazy this week.

Getting settled

I am thrilled to get to share all that God is doing in our lives. First, we are all moved in our new home in West Lafayette, Indiana. It is cold and snowy but it is home and it's where we feel God has called us.

The girls are getting situated in their new schools. Ragan is transitioning fine into her new environment. Reilly has done so incredibly well. Rinna had a rough start (let's just say the description of crocodile tears is putting it mildly), but now says that Mr. Proulx (Pru) is her favorite teacher EVER.

I am unpacking all that I care to unpack right now. While we are renting, I feel that if I haven't needed it by now, I don't need it (I'm sticking to that).

Steve is continuing to learn and enjoy his job. Yay God. Thank you to all of you who prayed for us for so long. I feel without a doubt, that this is what it was leading up to.

It is so incredible to be back by my family and Steve's. My in laws actually live about 5 minutes from us and my family is about an hour away. My sister and I take turns on weekends coming to see each other.

I miss my sunshine and heat, but have to admit the snow falling is beautiful. I'll let you know if I still feel that way by the end of winter :)
