What's New

Wow, I can't believe how fast this year has just flown by. The girls are doing all doing great in school. They are making great grades and staying on task. Life at home has changed drastically as Steve and I have switched roles. He is presently looking for work and now I am the official "bread winner". I am working at a new salon, spa and party place called Limelight. My friend opened this and our first day is tomorrow, Dec. 8. I am so excited. This place is going to be awesome. Check out the website.
http://www.limelightsalonspa.com. I am also working part time at Pottery Barn Kids. Life is busy that's for sure. We've recently had the pleasure of having lots and lots of company. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Steve's parents came for a week, then we had our friends, Torrey, Polly, Noah, and Karson Herrin here for Thanksgiving. Next my wonderful sister came to help me celebrate my 40th birthday. I cannot believe I'm actually publishing my age, but it is what it is. We had a great visit with Adonna, Evan and Abby. Next my parents are coming for Christmas. I am posting some pics from some of our recent visits. More to come.....

First day of school 2008

The first day of school was awesome. All 3 girls did great. My 7th grader, yes 7th grader, got back into the swing of things very quickly. She is loving school. Reilly started 4th grade at a new school this year. Lucky for me Rinna is at this school also so instead of driving to 3 different schools, I only have 2. Yay!! Reilly has a beautiful young teacher and they have hit it off. Reilly loves her teacher and the feeling is mutual. This brings us to Rinna. She started Kindergarten. I was really worried about this because most of you know she didn't do to well with separation during pre-k. However, on the first day of school, she leaned over and kissed me and said "bye mommy" and got out of the car and walked hand in hand with her big sister and went to class. She didn't need me :(. My babies are growing up.

Awards

We had a great ending to this school year. Ragan and Reilly were both recognized with awards. Ragan received an award for Top 10% in her class with a gradepoint average of 3.8-4.0. Yes, this is my daughter. Reilly was recognized as student of the month for May 2008. Rinna didn't win an award but she did finish Pre-K which is huge.

We are so proud of them.

My Athletes

Here are some recent pictures of our beautiful girls in the various sports they are in.  Ragan is currently playing sand volleyball.  Reilly is playing softball.  Rinna is playing, well uh,  nothing at the moment.  She started out playing softball this year but only made it one practice.  She just finished a stint in ballet.

They all three were playing tennis and will start that again in June.

Enjoy!

Reilly's 9th birthday Celebration

My baby girl, Reilly turned 9 on April 8.  Her birthday party was this past Friday at Sweet and Sassy.  All the girls had a wonderful time getting dressed up, dancing, and getting their hair and make up done.  I can't believe how quickly my girls are growing up.

Ragan's 12th birthday Celebration

I can't believe I'm old enough to have a 12 year old.  Boy does time fly.  My baby girl turned 12 on April 9. We had her birthday party with her friends this past Saturday at Super Play USA and we all had a blast.  We bowled, played laser tag, and played in the video arcade.  I must mention that I beat Steve in 3 straight games of bowling.
